- Acrylic yarn, worsted weight

(240 m in 100 g):

 yellow, orange

Size E (3.5 mm) crochet hook

 

Polyester stuffing

Silk ribbon (35 cm)

2 small black beads (for eyes)

Four big red or orange buttons

 

 

Length: 9cm

Body:

 

With a yellow yarn.

Ch 4, join to form a ring. 6 sc into the ring.

Rnd 1: (2 sc in each sc) around 12 sc

Rnd 2: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around – 18 sc

Rnd 3: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around – 24 sc

Rnd 4-15: sc around – 24 sc

Stuff with polyester

Rnd 16: (2 sc, 2 sc together) around – 18 sc

Rnd 17: (1 sc, 2 sc together) around – 12 sc

 

Rnd 18: (2 sc together) around – 6 sc

Fasten off  and break the yarn.

Head:

 

With a yellow yarn.

Ch 4, join to form a ring. 6 sc into the ring.

Rnd 1: (2 sc in each sc) around 12 sc

Rnd 2: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around – 18 sc

Rnd 3: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around – 24 sc

Beak:

 

With orange yarn,

 ch 4, join to form a ring. 6 sc into the ring.

Rnd 1: 2 sc in the 1st and 3rd sc 8 sc

Rnd 2-3: sc around – 8 sc

Break the yarn leaving a long end for assembling

 

Stuff with polyester

Attach the beak to the head.

Attach the eyes (black beads).

Attach the head to the body and add the buttons (“wheels”).

 

Tie a ribbon in a bow on duck’s neck.
